Chief of Staff

Kay serves as Chief of Staff at FBC Kaufman, where she helps drive the collective effectiveness of the church’s leadership and ministries. She oversees the day-to-day ministry and business operations, working to align strategy and vision across the entire church. Her role centers on implementing the vision set by the Senior Pastor, managing church-wide initiatives, and supporting ministry teams so they can thrive.

Kay completed her undergraduate studies at SMU and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Truett Seminary at Baylor University. She has faithfully served on staff at FBC Kaufman for 18 years, offering wisdom, strength, and Spirit-filled leadership every step of the way.

She is passionate about loving people into the Kingdom and looks forward to Sunday mornings—connecting with new guests, encouraging familiar faces, and worshiping with her church family. When she has free time, Kay enjoys reading, gardening, and quilting. She and her husband Dave are brand-new grandparents and have fully embraced their new roles as Lovey and Bear. They love college football, traveling, and family game nights.
