Leah Jackson

Executive Director, Promiseland Learning Center

Leah serves as the Executive Director of Promiseland Learning Center, where she leads with a heart for nurturing the whole child—heart, mind, and soul. Under her leadership, Promiseland provides a safe, loving environment where children and families can experience the love of Jesus. Leah is passionate about guiding her staff to love and lead little ones well, and she remains hands-on in the daily life of the center, helping each child grow in confidence, creativity, and faith.

Leah holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University. She joined the staff of FBC Kaufman in February 2007 and has been part of the church family since 2003. Raised in Waco, Leah now calls Kaufman home and considers it a gift to serve the church and community that have meant so much to her family.

She loves being outside, whether she’s camping, exercising, or working in her flower beds. Leah is also a proud dog mom to Jake and Tucker and loves spending time with her husband Charlie and their two college kids, Drew and Avery. A fun fact about Leah: she once served as the women’s basketball team manager at Texas A&M. They didn’t win much—but the memories (and road trips) were worth it.
