Mason Glidewell
Student Pastor
Mason serves as the Student Pastor at FBC Kaufman, where he leads ministry for students in grades 6–12. His heart is to equip and empower the next generation to take ownership of their faith and follow Jesus for a lifetime. Whether it’s midweek gatherings, Sunday mornings, or moments in between, Mason brings energy and purpose to everything he does—always pointing students to Jesus and helping them discover the joy of walking with Him.
Mason holds a bachelor's degree in Business and Christian Ministry from East Texas Baptist University and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Ministry. He’s been on staff since 2021 but grew up right here in Kaufman, attending FBC Kaufman as a student himself. His passion for student ministry is deeply personal—he gave his life to Christ in 7th grade and knows firsthand how important it is for this generation to encounter Jesus in real, life-changing ways.
Outside of ministry, Mason loves being outdoors, playing golf, and spending time with family. He’s a big fan of Dr. Pepper, Goldfish crackers, and peanut M&Ms. His greatest joy is the people God has placed in his life—his family remains the most important part of his story.
