Connections Pastor

Taylor serves as the Connections Pastor at FBC Kaufman, where he helps individuals and families take their next steps toward belonging to a church family. He leads the New Here Team, follows up with first-time guests, and partners with each of our age-based ministries to develop growth strategies and connection points that foster genuine community and discipleship.

Taylor graduated from Dallas Baptist University and holds a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined FBC Kaufman as a member in 2020 and came on staff the following year in June 2021. His greatest passion is seeing people of all ages fully surrender their lives to Jesus and follow Him with boldness and joy. He’s driven to do whatever it takes to reach anyone and everyone with the gospel.

Outside of ministry, Taylor is a die-hard sports fan with deep loyalty to the Rangers, Mavericks, Cowboys, Stars, and Texas Longhorns. He enjoys Marvel movies, thrillers, camping, learning new languages, and good Tex-Mex. His go-to spots are Chuy’s and Taco Bell, and though he’s from Texas, he’ll take Coke over Dr. Pepper any day. Taylor and his wife Nicole were married in 2017 and are raising three boys—Ryan, Luka, and Noah—who keep life fun and full.
