A place where every family belongs.

Who we are

Embrace

A place where every family belongs.

Embrace exists because families of children and adults with special needs shouldn't have to choose between belonging and staying home. Through a hybrid model — dedicated, sensory-friendly spaces and trained Anchors who walk alongside individuals in regular classes — we're building a church where every person, no matter their ability, is seen, known, and treated with dignity. This is for kids, students, and adults with special needs and the families who love them, because when one member of a family is genuinely cared for, the whole family is free to worship. As we say at FBC Kaufman, to reach people no one else is reaching, we'll do things no one else is doing — and we're just getting started.

What we're doing

Our approach: Walk, Run, Soar

Walk

What we can do right now

  • Place a trained anchor volunteer in every classroom with a child who has special needs
  • Create a designated, quiet space for kids with special needs
Run

What we're building toward

  • A LifeGroup for adults with special needs, so parents can attend their own groups and everyone can be part of worship
  • Bathroom resources so individuals can use the facilities with dignity
  • Opportunities for adults with special needs to serve in the life of the church
Soar

Where we believe God is taking us

  • A special needs playground
  • A van for transportation
  • Respite care teams for families
  • And more
What you can do

If you want to help, we have a place for you.

If you want to give, we have a place for that too.
