Read 2 Timothy 1:6-14.
This is what it means to fan the flame of the Holy Spirit in your life. To live wholeheartedly for Jesus, even in the midst of suffering and persecution. To be bold about sharing the gospel, not timid or afraid or ashamed. What fears or anxieties keep you from sharing the gospel with boldness and passion? How can you develop a passion for loving people well? What would that look like in your life to love others with wild abandon?
Read Malachi 2:17-3:4.
The Holy Spirit is the agent of our sanctification, that purifying process. As a silversmith uses fire to purge the impurities from the precious metal, so God uses fire to purge our sin and impurities from us. God allows us to go through the fire to purify us. But He never leaves us alone. What fiery trials you have gone through? Looking back, in what ways do you see that God used them to refine you?
