Dear Church Family,

For more than two decades, it has been my privilege to serve as your pastor and watch God grow this church in depth and impact. From the beginning, we believed God was giving us more than a campus. He was shaping the spiritual future of Kaufman County.

Today, our county is growing, and our church is nearing capacity. Our late service is almost full, and LifeGroup space is maxed out. These good challenges call us to faithful action so we can keep welcoming new people and investing in discipleship. It takes an unselfish church to grow. Thank you for being that kind of church.

In the months ahead, we will expand our worship space and make key campus improvements, including new LifeGroup cabins, an outdoor baptistry, better parking flow, and a retention pond.

To make this possible, we are inviting our church into a season of generosity through the One Fund Commitment. This is a generosity initiative that seeks to unite our giving to community ministry, campus development, and local and global missions. One church, one shared purpose, one fund. This is not about buildings, but about building the people and tools that we need to meet the challenges of this moment.

As has always been our history, we can only take on new challenges when we take them on together. We need every heart and family to be a part of this moment.

Thank you for loving our church and prayerfully considering your part in what comes next.

With gratitude and hope,
Dr. Brent Gentzel
Senior Pastor

The One Fund Commitment

One Fund Projects

LifeGroup Cabins

1

The new LifeGroup cabins protect Sunday morning discipleship for every generation on the same campus. Each cabin will host six LifeGroups in warm, welcoming spaces designed for connection and spiritual growth. This allows us to expand worship seating without sacrificing Bible study.

These cabins also solve a long-standing challenge. Because worship and Bible study happen at the same time, noise from the worship venue often disrupts nearby classrooms. The cabins create needed distance so groups can meet without interruption, greatly improving the quality of Sunday morning discipleship.

Senior Adult Parking Lot

2

Accessibility matters. A new senior adult parking area, located near the Porch, will improve safety and convenience for senior adults and those with mobility needs. This reflects our belief that every generation belongs and deserves thoughtful care.

Outdoor Baptistry

3

Baptism is a public celebration of new life in Christ. Our outdoor baptistry will provide a permanent, beautiful space for our church family to gather and celebrate stories of salvation.

It will also offer those with mobility challenges a dignified way to follow Jesus in baptism. These moments remind us why we invest in ministry and prepare for the future.

Retention Pond and Campus Improvements

4

The new retention pond will address current drainage challenges while adding a beautiful feature to our campus. Along with this, upgrades to our entry plaza and patio, plus the addition of a new waterfront deck, will help keep our campus welcoming and ready for future outdoor gatherings and events.

How One Fund Works

  • Begin by asking God what your family’s next step should be. This is a spiritual decision, and we trust the Holy Spirit to guide each household.

  • Everyone participates at a different level, based on where they are today:

    • If you are not currently giving, we invite you to begin at 3% of your household income.

    • If you currently give around 3%, consider stepping to 6%.

    • If you give 6%, pray about moving to 9%.

    • If you are a faithful 10% giver, consider what it would mean to give 13% during this season.

No one gives the same amount. Everyone takes the same step of faith.

  • Your One Fund commitment is made over the next three years and supports everything we do through one unified approach:

    • Local ministry

    • Global missions

    • Discipleship

    • Campus development

This allows us to move forward together with clarity, unity, and purpose.

  • When you are ready, share your commitment online:

Our church must refinance by the end of 2026. A consistent increase in giving over the coming months demonstrates financial strength and helps secure the best possible rate. This positions us to move forward confidently as we expand both our campus and ministry efforts.

Your One Fund Commitment supports every part of our mission: helping people know Jesus and grow in their faith.

We are in this together.
