Care Classes

  • Celebrate Recovery

This program begins at 6:30 p.m. on Monday evenings. CR is a safe place to address destructive or compulsive behaviors, unhealthy relationships, addictions (drugs, alcohol, food, pornography), anger, shame, codependency, past abuse, overspending, and so much more. People can find freedom from any hurt, hang-up, or habit that is making their life unmanageable. No registration is required. All are welcome!

  • Caregivers Support Group

Join us every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at FBC Kaufman Worship Venue 9-10 AM (2000 W. Fair Street, Kaufman, TX) OR every 2nd Thursday at River of Life Community Center at 6pm (300 N. Dallas, Kemp, TX). Share, support, and learn as you care for a loved one.

  • re|engage

Re|Engage starts Monday nights at 6:30 p.m., beginning September 14! Whether your marriage is strong, you're walking through a challenging season, or you’re both on life support, Re|Engage offers a safe, Christ-centered space to reconnect, heal, and grow closer as a couple. There is a cost of $15 per person to cover the workbooks.

  • GriefShare

Grief can feel like a road no one else understands, but you don’t have to walk it alone. GriefShare is a 13-week, faith-centered support group designed to help you process loss and find hope alongside others who understand. The group begins Tuesday, September 1, from 9:30–11:00 a.m. in The Porch and will meet weekly for 13 weeks. Whether your loss happened recently or years ago, it’s never too late to find healing. Come as you are, and know that all are welcome.

  • Reimagine

Reimagine is a parent & caregiver support group for those with special needs individuals. This group meets weekly during the school year, and childcare and dinner are free! Please register to let us know you’re coming!

  • Embrace

Embrace exists because families of children and adults with special needs shouldn't have to choose between belonging and staying home. Through a hybrid model — dedicated, sensory-friendly spaces and trained Anchors who walk alongside individuals in regular classes — we're building a church where every person, no matter their ability, is seen, known, and treated with dignity. This is for kids, students, and adults with special needs and the families who love them, because when one member of a family is genuinely cared for, the whole family is free to worship. As we say at FBC Kaufman, to reach people no one else is reaching, we'll do things no one else is doing — and we're just getting started.
